Grand Opening of the Hogarth Family and Pioneer Energy Ophthalmology Centre at McMaster Children's Hospital
This April, Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation marked the grand opening of the Hogarth Family and Pioneer Energy Ophthalmology Centre at McMaster Children’s Hospital. The new centre is designed specifically for children and their families to make their visit as smooth and comfortable as possible. The new centre offers state-of-the-art equipment while also having a layout that is aesthetically pleasing and appropriate for a child’s stay in a hospital.
The centre was named in honour of the one million dollar donation given to the hospital by the Hogarth Family and Pioneer Energy through their annual Give what You Can campaigns. Murray Hogarth, founder of Pioneer, along with his wife, Diana, and their five sons have been a long-time supporters and donors to McMaster Children’s Hospital and Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.
Murray’s son and CEO of Pioneer, Tim Hogarth, spoke on behalf of the family and Pioneer. “Our family is extremely proud to support this campaign personally and through the generosity of our customers and matching corporate donations. This new Centre is world-class and ensures that the highest quality of care is available here in Hamilton, for the children of this region.”
We are proud to and will continue to support our community including McMaster Children’s Hospital and Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.
