Extra Hot Chocolate

We made a promise! Here it is! 

An exceptional hot cocoa recipe to prepare on Valentine’s Day and impress your loved one! It will keep you both warm and happy on your extraordinary winter adventures!

Ingredients : 

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 to 4 cups of your favorite milk or plant beverage (unsweetened)
  • small pinch of cayenne or paprika powder (optional)
  • one anis star
  • one cinnamon stick or a pinch of cinnamon powder
  • You can also add vanilla extract, a pinch of nutmeg, ginger powder and cardamom.

In a pan, melt the cocoa powder and sugar while stirring slowly. Gradually add the milk while continuously whisking. Keep whisking for a few minutes as the milk heats up, then add your desired spices. Allow the mixture to cook on low heat for approximately 15 minutes to half an hour.

Serve hot and covered with marshmallows and enjoy!!!
